Telegram Integration

Real-time execution alerts and portfolio oversight.

Connect your Runa Labs account to Telegram to receive instant notifications whenever a webhook fires, an order fills, or an error occurs. You can also control your execution engine directly via chat.

Setup Instructions

Open Telegram and search for @BotFather (the official Telegram bot creator).
Send the command `/newbot` and follow the prompts to name your bot.
BotFather will provide an HTTP API Token. Copy this and paste it into your Runa Labs Settings as the 'Bot Token'.
Start a chat with your newly created bot.
To find your Chat ID, forward a message from your bot to @userinfobot, or use the Runa Labs built-in /ping feature.

Anytime you link an account, unlink an account, or rename a connection in the web UI, the backend instantly syncs those changes to your Telegram bot.

Bridge Control Commands

You can interact directly with your execution bridge by sending these commands to your Telegram bot. (Note: These commands route directly to your connected exchanges):

/ping

Tests latency between the bridge and Telegram.

/status

Returns overall engine health and active links.

/balance

Retrieves available margin across your accounts.

/positions

Lists all open positions and unrealized PnL.

/pause <strategy>

Instantly halts automated execution for a strategy.

/resume <strategy>

Reactivates a previously paused strategy.

/close <symbol>

Emergency market-closes a specific ticker.

/panic

Emergency closes ALL positions across all accounts.
