Terms of Service

Effective date: July 8, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of runalabs.ai and the Runa Labs execution terminal (the "Service") operated by Runa Labs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service, including trading in derivatives and digital assets, is lawful in your jurisdiction.

2. The Service Is Non-Custodial

Runa Labs never holds, receives, or transmits your funds. The Service routes instructions to exchanges and brokers using API credentials that you provide and control. You can revoke access at any time by deleting your API keys from the terminal or the exchange. We strongly recommend creating API keys with withdrawal permissions disabled.

3. Not Financial Advice

Runa Labs is a technology provider. We are not a broker, dealer, exchange, investment adviser, or fiduciary, and we hold no financial licenses. Nothing in the Service — including research data, market regime detection, marketplace strategies, and any performance statistics — constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. All content is provided for informational purposes only.

4. Trading Risk

Trading digital assets and derivatives involves significant risk of loss, including loss of your entire capital. Past performance, including backtest results shown in the strategy marketplace, is not indicative of future results. Automated execution can amplify losses. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, your strategy configuration, your position sizing, and the risk settings on your accounts.

6. Marketplace Strategies

Strategies published in the marketplace are created by us or by other users. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any strategy or its published statistics. Subscribing to a strategy means orders will be placed on your connected accounts automatically according to your position sizing — you accept full responsibility for the outcome.

7. Availability & Modifications

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific latency, or that signals will always be delivered or executed; exchanges may reject, delay, or partially fill orders for reasons outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runa Labs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, or loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Runa Labs from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk. Sections 3, 4, 8, and 9 survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Runa Labs is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
